GHG Inventory · GHG Protocol & ISO 14064-1

A corporate greenhouse gas inventory a verifier can follow.

Scope 1, 2 and 3 under the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 — from the inventory boundary to the report, with the factor, source and evidence behind every figure.

Report — Scope 1, 2 (location and market) and 3, broken down by category.

What the inventory covers

All three scopes and all 15 Scope 3 categories — with methods that hold up in a verification.

  • Scope 1

Stationary and mobile combustion, refrigerants and other fugitive gases, process emissions for cement, lime, glass, ammonia and steel (IPCC 2006, NGER).

  • Scope 2

Location-based and market-based side by side, as the Scope 2 Guidance requires.

  • Scope 3

All 15 categories — supplier-specific PCFs, spend-based (USEEIO), distance-based travel and freight; well-to-tank of fuels derived automatically.

  • Factor library

DEFRA 2025, UBA 2025 (German grid), NGA/NGER (Australia), Singapore and IPCC — each factor with source, year and region; own factors only with a source reference.

Five steps, in the order of the standards

The app walks through the inventory the way ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol structure it.

  1. 01

    Inventory boundary

Organisation, consolidation approach and sites — equity share or control.

  2. 02

    Reporting year

Period, base year, recalculation policy and the denominators for intensity metrics.

  3. 03

    Record data

Consumption, travel, purchases and waste per site — each line with evidence and data quality. Or describe it in plain language and confirm the AI’s proposal.

  4. 04

    Scope 3 assessment

Every one of the 15 categories assessed; exclusions justified.

  5. 05

    Review & report

Completeness check against the reporting requirements, then the report and the audit files.

Built for the verification

Removals and biogenic CO₂ are reported separately and never netted. Every line keeps its evidence, the change journal records who changed what, and a closed reporting year is locked.

  • Word report
  • Excel and CSV
  • Audit workbook with live formulas
  • Evidence package for the verifier
  • ISO 14064-1 categories 1–6 next to the scopes
  • Gas-by-gas breakdown and uncertainty
